What do you feel are your greatest football strengths?
My greatest strengths are my size and speed. I feel like I have a rare combination of the two. I can stop a big, freight train running back, or chase down a fast, and shifty Quarterback with no problem.
What was your favorite high school football moment?
My favorite moment was when I was a freshman and first played in a varsity game and made a tackle and I heard the roar of the crowd for the first time in my life and heard my name over the loud speaker. It was the greatest moment of my life.
What do you feel are your greatest football accomplishments?
I made the 5a All Region first team. But in my eyes the best thing I've ever accomplished was showing the young guys on my team how and why you love the game. It's exhilarating to see the expressions on their faces when it finally clicks with them.
What do you like most about playing on defense?
I love the rush you get when you slam a quarterback to the ground and the crowd goes wild. It's a lineman's only chance to really show out and have everyone see it.
What would you like to major in once you get to college?
I plan on majoring in either nursing or criminal justice, I'm not exactly sure at this time.
What are your ultimate life goals?
My ultimate life goals are to be a man in life. My goals are to be the best husband I can be to my wife, the best father I can be to my children, and to have a purpose bigger than myself. That's what I'm working toward.
What motivates you everyday to work so hard?
The people that are counting on me and pulling for me everyday. My family, friends, and fans. The people that push me when I'm feeling down. Those are the ones who make me work so hard.
What type of person is a Division 1 program getting in Jaeden Ridgeway?
They are gonna get a hard working, leader who will put his all on the line for the team at any time. They'll get a young man who puts the team first and himself last.
Have you received any offers? If so, who? If not, who is close?
South Alabama and ULL both have been talking to me. I got invited to both of their junior days.
